Spanishsays is a Hong Kong‑based Spanish language education provider. We offer online courses for students aged 5–17, and since 2025, we have expanded into in‑person teaching, including on‑site school programmes, learning centre partnerships, corporate training, and Spanish‑related cultural events.
We believe that a great language teacher does more than teach – they inspire curiosity and confidence. That’s why we are building a high‑quality freelance tutor network to match the right people with a variety of teaching and cultural projects.

All jobs are offered on a freelance basis. You choose what fits your schedule and skills.

Native Spanish speaker or DELE C1/C2 level (native speakers welcome)

Can use fluent English or Cantonese/Mandarin as a teaching aid

Hold or willing to apply for SCRC (Sexual Conviction Record Check)

Q: Do I need an SCRC to accept jobs?
A: Most on-site school jobs require a valid SCRC. Those without an SCRC can still take private tutoring or corporate training jobs, but we strongly recommend applying for one.
Q: Do you provide training?
A: Yes. For on-site school programmes, we provide school-specific training, covering school background, class procedures, and administrative details. We also hold regular online teaching sharing sessions.
Q: Who prepares the teaching materials and class notes?
A: We provide complete textbooks, class notes, and worksheets. You can focus entirely on teaching and interaction.
Q: What if I encounter problems during class? Is there support?
A: Yes. We have a professional teaching support team available via WhatsApp to help you with any classroom issues, student concerns, or administrative matters. You are never alone.
Q: What is the working atmosphere like?
A: We value a happy, respectful, and supportive working environment. Team members help each other, and our shared goal is to help students fall in love with Spanish. We also encourage teachers to share their teaching moments and achievements.
Q: What is the hourly rate?
A: It depends on the job type and your experience. On-site school courses typically range from $350–$500 per hour. Private tutoring and corporate training may offer higher rates.
